A full package from enabling works to a three-storey post-tensioned RC frame with exposed concrete soffits, at a 95,000sqft flexible workspace and laboratory development.
The Optic delivers 95,000sqft of flexible workspace and state-of-the-art laboratories at Peterhouse Technology Park, Cambridge.
Whelan and Grant were responsible for the full package: from enabling works including pile attendance, site-wide drainage and services, through substructures to the three-storey post-tensioned RC frame with exposed concrete soffits.
Working in close partnership with specialist supply chain partner CCL, the full post-tension design was developed collaboratively as part of the delivery.
