Appointed by Willmott Dixon, Whelan and Grant delivered the full groundworks package for Hopescourt School in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey's latest net-zero SEND school.
The new purpose-built facility will provide 200 places for autistic pupils aged 4 to 19, alongside specialist provision for those with communication and interaction needs.
Designed to go well beyond a traditional school environment, it includes sensory-tailored spaces, outdoor learning areas and enrichment facilities, supporting Surrey County Council's commitment to inclusive education.
