A sustainability-focused three-storey lab-enabled office targeting BREEAM Excellent, delivered with an RC frame incorporating 70% GGBS and an embodied carbon target below 600kgCO2e/m².
Quad Three is the third of four buildings within the Harwell Campus Quad Development, designed to integrate seamlessly with the established site while placing sustainability and community at its core.
Whelan and Grant delivered the 7,000sqm three-storey lab-enabled office building for Bowmer and Kirkland, with the RC frame specified to an impressive 70% GGBS content.
The scheme targets BREEAM Excellent and an embodied carbon of less than 600kgCO2e/m2, reflecting a shared commitment to responsible construction on a campus at the forefront of science and innovation.
