Two landmark reinforced concrete buildings across a 365-acre forest site, including a 70m single-span leisure pool structure with 12m buttress columns and a three-storey hotel and entertainment complex.

Centre Parcs

Whelan and Grant constructed the main leisure and hotel buildings across this 365-acre forest development, split across two principal areas of the site.

The Sub-Tropical Swimming Paradise is a striking reinforced concrete framed structure housing a wave pool, lazy river, toddler pool, wild water rapids and family play areas.

Its 70m single-span roof is supported by 12m high buttress columns, with a 10m flume tower also forming part of the structure.

A few hundred metres away, the Plaza provides a three-storey RC framed complex housing a 75-bedroom hotel, spa, conference centre, six-lane bowling alley, supermarket and catering facilities.
