We work with clients at tender stage to determine if post tensioning is a viable option both structurally and financially.

We can provide a wide range of groundworks solutions tailored to our clients requirements, from enabling works and pile attendance through to full groundworks packages and basements. This versatile approach means that we can provide a package that best suits our customers needs.

We partner with major formwork companies using innovative solutions to produce concrete cores several floors ahead of the main slabs. We recently completed a 26 storey tower in Southampton using this approach. We can also use climbing shields in conjunction with this method to ensure the safety of the public and the workforce.

Whelan and Grant are highly experienced in this area. We can procure and install standard precast units all the way through to bespoke cast insitu curved architectural staircases. We work in conjunction with the country’s leading precast suppliers to ensure a high-quality solution.

We are able to form concrete in virtually any shape through the use of bespoke timber and metal shutters. These tailored solutions also help us work in areas of limited space where traditional shuttering wouldn’t fit. We recently completed some very complicated curving walls at Centre Parcs, Woburn.
